September 2012 Updates


Dear Clients & Partners,

We hope everyone is enjoying the cooler weather.  We're settled into our new home in Newark and have the updates below to share with you: 

  • Program Releases

Effective immediately, all TheraManager software releases will be accompanied by a "Release Notes" document.  This document will give you a detailed understanding of each update so that you'll know what to expect and can call us with any questions, before you install the update.  We will also email the Release Notes document to our Cloud Users prior to installing new releases on the Cloud.


  • Cloud Expansion

Due to the high volume of customers migrating onto our Cloud platform, we've made substantial increases in computer hardware and software this month.  The net effect of these additional processors, hard drives, computer memory, and software licenses is that we can support an ever-increasing number of users without compromising on performance. 


  • Insurance ClearingHouse Partner

Many of you are already using an electronic clearinghouse to process your insurance claims.  As you may know, TheraManager creates 5010-format messages that can be processed by any 5010-compliant clearinghouse.  While we do not specify the use of any specific clearinghouse, we do have a long historical relationship with one of the largest and most respected, Gateway EDI.  One advanced feature that is already built into TheraManager is that, when using the Gateway EDI clearinghouse, you may run on-line insurance eligibility checks via the TheraManager screens, while the patient is still in your office!  Over the next few months, we will expand our relationship with Gateway EDI and you will be invited to attend webinars to learn more about their services.


  • Patient Portal

We've been working for months on our new Patient Portal.  We're happy to announce that the launch will be in Q4 this year!  We will be setting up a handful of clients as beta sites in the near future.  More about this in the October newsletter.


  • Client Referral Program

As mentioned in prior newsletters, we are working aggressively on growing the company.  There is no better recommendation than one that comes from an existing customer.  For this reason, we are happy to introduce our new client referral program.  Under this program, clients will receive credits, which can be used towards support charges, cloud hosting time, billing services, etc. for each new referred clinician or practice that signs up with TheraManager.  We'll publish precise details in the October newsletter, but please consider this in place as of now.
